You may have noticed that skinning sheep results can result in one of two things: ruined leather scraps or wool. Obviously, leather scraps are pretty much worthless in the World of Warcraft, but that wool is pretty damn useful - and because it's useful, wool sells for a ton at the auction house. This is, of course, assuming you can get a lot of wool. Here are the top 3 tips for getting wool in World of Warcraft:
Level skinning - Make sure you have a high enough level to skin sheep. At lower levels, you'll generally never be able to acquire wool from sheep.
Farm sheep - Sheep drop wool, that's a fact, but farming sheep is not an easy task. We've found the best places to farm wool are Darkshire and Goldshire - anyplace else is just a waste of time.
Don't give up - Wool isn't a rare drop, but it does not drop 100% of the time, even at high skinning levels. So, don't get discouraged, and keep on skinning!
