Grinding in the World of Warcraft is a necessary evil. Whether it's a level or gold grind, you're going to need to keep these three tips in mind when you go grinding:
Be prepared - when you're grinding, you always need to be prepared. You'll need to be able to heal yourself quickly, so that means lots of water and food. If you're a mage you should have your spells ready for you and your party so they don't have to waste inventory space.
Bring proper equipment - even if you're just going to kill some beasts for skins, you should always be wearing the proper equipment, because you don't want to end up dead, wasting time in the afterlife, when you could be getting more gold or higher levels. Also, if you're going to grind levels, having the proper equipment helps you statistically, so your hits do my damage.
More kills, more experience - don't screw around. Grinding is a long and tedious process, so don't make it worse by getting yourself killed. If you think you can't kill a monster, run away or don't engage them at all. The more time you spend not grinding, the less time you have for earning gold or experience points
Yes, grinding sucks, but if you go prepared with the proper supplies and equipment - and you don't waste time on other tasks - grinding for gold or levels can be a much quicker experience.
